ABOUT ANDREW
Andrew got his start as one of the first students to be accepted and trained by The Einstein College of Medicine, Division of Substance Abuse, and continued his work at an inpatient residential treatment center in the South Bronx, focused on co-occurring disorders and chronic homelessness. He learned to work with individuals with severe mental illness and physical health issues such as AIDS and other chronic health conditions. He went on to work at an esteemed intensive outpatient program in Manhattan where he treated police officers, firefighters, EMTs, nurses, ironworkers, teachers, lawyers, and other young professionals. Through that experience, he quickly developed a passion for working with young adults. Later on, Andrew would be recruited by a state-of-the-art private mental health facility on the upper west side and moved through the ranks to become a Senior Therapist and eventually Assistant Director of Admissions. He has been committed to helping young adults, parents, and families. He has been recognized for his modernistic approaches to therapy and his caring and empathetic techniques, which yield results.
